TVS has launched an updated Jupiter 110 at a starting price of Rs. 76,691 (ex-showroom). Jupiter is one of the highest-selling 110cc scooters after Honda Activa. The 110cc commuter scooter is available in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC, and Disc SXC.

In the latest update, TVS Jupiter 110 gets an OBD-2B compliant engine. This hasn’t resulted in any change in output. Powering the TVS Jupiter 110 is a 113.3cc single-cylinder engine that kicks out 7.9 bhp at 6500 rpm and a peak torque of 9.2 Nm at 5000 rpm without iGo Assist, and at 9.8 Nm with the function. This engine is paired with a CVT automatic gearbox.

VariantsPrices (ex-showroom)
DrumRs 76,691
Drum AlloyRs 82,441
SmartXonnect DrumRs 85,991
SmartXonnect DiscRs 89,791

The scooter retains its existing mechanical setup, featuring a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Higher variants come equipped with a 220 mm petal front disc brake, while a rear drum brake remains standard across all models. It also continues to use a combined braking system. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels, fitted with 90/90-section tyres at both ends.

On the features front, the higher variants boast a colour LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation powered by MapMyIndia. It is available in seven colour options: Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, Starlight Blue Gloss, Titanium Grey Matte, Twilight Purple Gloss, Meteor Red Gloss, and Lunar White Gloss.

TVS says that it will complete the transition of its entire portfolio to OBD-2B standards, before the end of March 2025. The OBD-2B compliant TVS vehicle range has undergone significant upgrades in sensor technology and on-board capabilities. This system utilizes sensors to gather real-time data on throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel levels, and engine speed.

The on-board Engine Control Unit (ECU) continuously analyzes this data based on pre-programmed parameters for precise monitoring. This advanced on-board intelligence ensures that the vehicles maintain optimal performance, operate in an eco-friendly manner, and deliver enhanced durability throughout their lifespan.
