So for March 2025, Tata Motors is offering a crazy discount of up to Rs 1.35 lakh on the Altroz Racer. However, do note that the discount is available only on the MY24 models. On the other hand, models manufactured in 2025 are having no discount as of now. That said, the Altroz Racer is currently priced between Rs 11.01 lakh & Rs 12.94 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Now, why a sports car? Well, the performance Altroz Racer is offering in this budget is no less than a sports car. No, it does not have a higher capacity engine with 200bhp power! However, the engine is powerful enough for such a small car to go from 0 to 100kmph under 11 seconds! Sounds slow? Well, that powertrain, combined with the excellent driving dynamics, makes the Altroz Racer a great enthusiast car. In fact, on a race track, the Altroz Racer can be much quicker than all the other cars from its segment. Having said that, the Racer is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine (118bhp & 170Nm) – mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Also, it is a feature loaded car that offers front ventilated seats, sunroof, sporty exhaust sound, 10.25-inch touchscreen system and more.
Altroz Facelift Coming
After a few months of the launch of Racer, Tata Motors introduced some of its features to the regular model. However, the brand is now set to bring the facelift of the Altroz. With a facelift, we can expect the brand to introduce other features like front ventilated seats and a bigger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster to the Altroz line-up. Also, spy shots have confirmed exterior changes, which include LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, and new front & rear bumper design. What about the interior? Well, we can expect some design changes & addition of new elements like touch-based AC controls & new steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo – seen on the recent Tata cars. Additionally, we can expect the brand to offer the Altroz facelift with the powerful 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine from the Racer Edition. That said, we can expect the Altroz Facelift to be launched by June-July 2025!
