Honda CB500 Hornet: As we all know that Honda is a brand which is loved by almost every Indian due to its varieties of bikes and scooters.

Talking about Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the company has patented a new 500cc bike for the country which is CB500 Hornet. So, Let’s know about this new patented bike in detail;

Honda CB500 Hornet Specifications and Features:

The Honda CB500 Hornet uses a steel diamond frame, suspended by 41 mm Showa separate function forks at the front and a link-type monoshock with 5-step preload adjustment at the rear.

The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 120/70 section front tyres and 160/60 rear tyres. The bike weighs 192 kg and has a seat height of 784 mm.

Coming to its engine, here the motorcycle comes with a 469cc parallel-twin-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 48 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 45 nm of torque at 6,400 rpm. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox.

The CB500 Hornet features a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and LED lighting.

Honda CB500 Hornet Price and Launch Date:

Currently, Honda has only patented this bike in the country. There’s not any other information about this bike whether it’ll launch in India at what price but considering the features we can expect the bike around Rs 5.18 lakhs to 5.26 lakhs. Well, the real price may differ from this because the company has not announced anything about it yet.

To be honest I like the Honda CB series and I also ride on one of the Honda CB which is CB shine. Well I know there’s no comparison between these two but if CB500 Hornet comes to the Indian market, it will compete with the Kawasaki Versys, Benelli TRK 502 and others in this segment.
